ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Tuscaloosa, Alabama (35401) – Alabama healthcare jobs Facility : Regional Medical Center Emergency Department (54 beds) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (ER RN) Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 21, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours per week) Shift : 12 Hour Nights (15 : 00-03 : 00), every other weekend and holidays as required Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1570 - $1680 Parking : On-site parking available Dress Code : Solid Navy scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (will consider 18 months with at least 1 year in Emergency Department specialty) Associate degree in nursing required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact state (no temporary licenses) Required certifications : AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, TNCC Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Experience with Meditech EMR preferred ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced clinical environment Respond to trauma and stroke cases as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1 : 1 for critical / trauma patients to 1 : 3-4 for other patients Float to other units and hospitals within the healthcare system as required Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR Ready to take the next step in your travel nursing career?
