We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This position involves working on high-voltage electrical systems in various industrial and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will perform electrical installations, alterations, repairs, and troubleshooting with minimal supervision and may also lead a crew.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and work with a crew, providing guidance to apprentices and helpers.
- Install, modify, and repair electrical systems, conductors, and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot motors, controls, circuits, and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure efficient project execution.
- Perform rigging and set up for electrical operations.
- Apply fundamental electrical theory in practical work scenarios.
- Demonstrate proficiency in skills required for lower-level electrical roles (E5, E4, E3, E2, E1).
Position Requirements :
Licenses :
Current Journeyman Electrician License - Preferred
Education :
High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent training
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience, with expertise in high-voltage systems
This position requires travel to various project sites, including locations such as New York. Candidates should be adaptable, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
