Part -Time - 25 Hours Per Week / 37 Weeks Per Year

Monday - Friday : 1 : 15pm - 6 : 15pm

Grade 12

JOB SUMMARY :

Provides direct early intervention services and enrichment activities to youth in the After School program at OCO program sites according to OCO Universal Service Delivery methods. Carries out duties in accordance with Agency and Program policies and procedures and Federal / State policies / licensing regulations

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provides consistent, non-judgmental services using a youth development approach.
• Provides oversight to ensure the safety and well-being of consumers including maintaining professional boundaries and role modeling positive behavior.
• Handles routine situations that arise and seeks assistance on unusual situations; reports concern to appropriate personnel.
• Monitors the physical and emotional well-being of participants, addresses issues to ensure health and safety of all.
• Plans and facilitates group enrichment activities; must be able to manage a group size of 15 youth.
• Assists youth with activities to meet their needs, including planning / participating in recreational / social activities, following program guidelines, and reinforcement of limits and boundaries.
• Communicates pertinent information to co-workers and supervisors.
• Assists youth in contacting and connecting with resources, both internally and external to OCO.
• Assists in maintaining positive relationships with school personnel and the public ad provides contacts with parents to engage in program.
• Completes all documentation accurately, as required, including electronic records.
• Carries out other related duties and special projects as assigned.
