Job Description

Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management processes.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific standards.

Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Collaborate with senior leadership on financial planning and strategy.

Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting and finance functions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of Accounting / Controller should have :

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in the property industry or a similar field.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
