Overview

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for Marina, CA and the surrounding area to install and maintain promotional product displays at major retail locations.

Responsibilities

  • Store Visits : Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory
  • Purpose : Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
  • Clients : Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
  • Scheduling : Up to 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday; 8 : 00am–5 : 00pm. No weekends or evenings
  • Additional Opportunities : Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling
  • Reporting : Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

    • Qualifications

  • Experience : Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
  • Versatility : Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory
  • Attention to Detail : Ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
  • Independence and Teamwork : Comfortable working independently and with a small team when needed
  • Tech requirements : Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi / GPS enabled smart device (latest OS); laptop / desktop is a plus
  • Travel : Must have a driver's license and access to a personal vehicle; may be required to use it for role responsibilities
  • Physical : Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Compensation : The wage range for this position is $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
  • Additional Projects : Paid higher-rate technical projects available based on need
  • Employment Type : W2 employment with bi-weekly pay and direct deposit

  • Travel : Reimbursement for store-to-store travel time and mileage
  • Training : Paid training provided to prepare for program success
