Position Overview

We are hiring 23 Site Inspectors to support energy efficiency initiatives across multifamily buildings in the NYC metro area. This is a hands-on role with approximately 80% of time spent in the field conducting inspections and 20% on reporting and documentation. Inspectors will verify installation quality, enforce safety standards, and ensure compliance with program requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect building systems including HVAC, heating, electrical, plumbing, and insulation with a focus on energy efficiency.
• Conduct diagnostic testing such as blower door tests and combustion analysis.
• Prepare detailed energy audit reports and scopes of work for retrofit projects.
• Submit inspection documentation including photos, videos, and reports in a timely manner.
• Monitor contractor work for quality, completeness, and adherence to safety standards.
• Access attics, crawlspaces, and other building areas to verify installations.
• Apply knowledge of International Mechanical and Building Codes during inspections.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, property managers, and building personnel.
• Attend training sessions to maintain certifications and stay current with industry practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.65 / hr.
