General Summary
Installs, maintains, and repairs audio hardware and software to support University music and fine arts programs. Coordinates client sessions in the University’s sound studio to ensure appropriate audio engineering support.
Major Duties
- Installs, maintains, and repairs audio technology for the University’s sound studio. Coordinates client sessions to ensure appropriate audio engineering support.
- Provides audio technology services for classrooms, workspaces, research centers, and other University facilities supporting music and fine arts programs.
- Maintains awareness of emerging trends in audio hardware and software to support effective technology management and innovation.
- Coordinates with academic and studio leadership to assess technology needs and support budget planning for music and fine arts programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.One year’s relevant experience.Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.Desired Qualifications
