PFM Exceptions Processing Representative
Under the direction of a manager, the Representative in PFM Exceptions Processing works to process the client's third-party prescription receivables through clearing client specific system exceptions and assisting with the resolution of assigned unapplied cash categories. The Representative interacts with numerous internal team members, assists with on-boarding of new clients, cross-trains with other team members, develops and improves operating processes, monitors system processes, recommends product enhancements and performs system testing.
Primary Accountabilities :
Analytical Evaluate the exceptions trends for clients and set priorities to ensure all work is completed within established deadlines Review trending for process improvement
Operational Follow policies and procedures for resolving Unapplied Cash Categories for assigned clients and categories Follow policies and procedures for completing everyday tasks according to client and carrier protocols Discuss operational issues with manager and makes recommendations for any necessary changes, including suggestion of new processes or efficiency gains Clear client and carrier exceptions in order to properly close unapplied cash Identify and resolve processing problems Initiate actions to research client questions or to resolve processing problems Draft procedural guidelines to instruct team members regarding processes, policies, and procedures, as assigned Responsible for evaluating, assisting and taking the appropriate action on clearing file exceptions where applicable
Administrative Return / acknowledge internal team communications within 24 business hours Manage workload to meet agreed upon processing guidelines Establish and maintain processing guidelines booklet for each client to be used as a back-up Report to the account analyst and manager on any untimely, unresolved issues Report to manager any spikes in the trending of exceptions Suggest changes to manager for any necessary shifts in priority and then execute workload priority changes accordingly Professionally communicate to other team members via emails, phone calls, face to face meetings, and support tickets Work with internal departments, such as Client Operations, as needed Maintain HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance in all client communication Maintain proper storage of paper documentation containing protected healthcare information (PHI) per Inmar HIPAA Policies and Procedures Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications :
At least 2 years of relevant experience involving customer service, computer usage, data entry and data analysis AND an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience required to complete the essential functions / job responsibilities of the position.
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Windows
Competent in 10 Key Manual Entry, Google Office Suite
Knowledge of accounting procedures on automated systems
Knowledge of computer systems and report generation (AS / 400 knowledge preferred)
