About The Position

Interventional Cardiology Locums - New Mexico

Embrace a rewarding Interventional Cardiology assignment in New Mexico, near Albuquerque International Sunport

Highlights

Only 7 consecutive days per month, you choose the schedule
Ongoing, flexible assignment with potential for full time coverage
Mix of inpatient and outpatient settings for variety
Full hospital cath lab and outpatient nursing support

Practice Setting

Combination of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic work

Support from dedicated hospital and clinic teams, no APPs

Focused on adult cardiology care with a collaborative environment

Schedule

24 hour call during assignment week

Block scheduling available to maximize time off between rotations

Minimum 7 consecutive days per month, ideal for work life balance

Cases and Procedures

Interventional procedures : left / right heart caths, stents, pacemakers, AICDs, loop recorders, TEEs

Includes diagnostic reads : echos, stress tests, and nuclear studies

Opportunity to balance inpatient consults and outpatient procedures

Requirements

Board certified Interventional Cardiologist (MD or DO)

Active New Mexico medical license required

ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications

Travel Accommodations

Travel and lodging provided

Convenient access via Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ)

All transportation expenses reimbursed, including mileage and airfare
