Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (overtime may be required)
Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced Care Management Support Coordinator II to join our team in partnership with a leading healthcare organization. This is a remote position, but candidates must live in Dallas, TX.
Position Summary
The Care Management Support Coordinator II provides administrative support to care management programs by assisting members, providers, and staff. This role involves processing authorizations, making outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, and ensuring members are connected with resources and services that support their care plans.
Responsibilities
Perform outbound and inbound calls to assist members with scheduling, resources, and next steps in their care
Process LTSS / SK / SH / MMP authorizations accurately and within required turnaround times
Provide education and support to members and providers regarding care procedures and resources
Maintain accurate member records and documentation in compliance with state and regulatory guidelines
Send welcome letters, correspondence, and educational materials
Support the Centralized Authorization Team with cross-functional administrative tasks
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED (required)
1-2 years of experience in medical authorizations, claims processing, or managed care (required)
Knowledge of medical terminology and customer service best practices
Prior remote work experience
Strong data entry and computer skills
Preferred :
Experience with LTSS or managed care processes
Bilingual communication skills
Must-Haves
1-2 years of authorizations or claims processing experience in a managed care setting
Knowledge of medical terminology and strong customer service skills
Proven ability to work remotely and independently
