Physician / Neurology / Connecticut / Locum or Permanent / Neurology (MD) - Outpatient-Focused Medic

Our client is seeking a Neurologist to join a highly regarded outpatient-focused medical group in New Haven, CT. Job Function :

• Provides medical care related to disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nervous system.
• Examines patients, obtains medical histories.
• Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic tests. Creates treatment plans.
• Initiates appropriate referrals to specialists and hospital programs.
• Works with practice management to ensure proper compliance with billing and coding.
• Provides quality supervision of residents, medical students, nurses, medical assistants and other clinical staff at the site.
