We are seeking a part-time Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Watch Officer to support the CDCs Division of Emergency Operations (DEO) within the Office of Readiness and Response (ORR), located at the Roybal Campus in Atlanta, GA.
The CDC EOC operates 24 / 7 / 365 as the agencys front line for emergency communication and coordination. Watch Officers answer and triage hundreds of calls and emails every dayfrom clinicians, international travelers, state and federal partners, and the publicensuring information is routed quickly and accurately. During activations, Watch Officers play a central role in supporting CDC leadership and response teams.
This is a mission-critical role at the heart of CDCs operations. It is ideal for candidates seeking impactful part-time work, an entry point into CDC emergency management, or a pathway to future full-time opportunities.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.25 - $28.75. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
