About The Position

Job Title : CVOR Tech

Hours per Shift : 06 : 00 - 16 : 30

Experience : 1+ years

License : Pending license not accepted

Certifications : BLS, CST, NBSTSA

Must-Have :

• Certificate from NBSTSA
• CSTAHA BLS required

Description :

Must take call at least two days each week.

Must take 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule depending on the need.

Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays to be eligible for holiday contracts, if applicable.

Contractors are not authorized to take time off during busy holiday periods.

Travelers will receive 16 hours of orientation.

Travelers must float to other units and / or campuses if requested due to census concerns.

Staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have demonstrated competencies.

The average daily census is 3 hearts per day.

Flexible contract lengths are available for holiday coverage.

Travelers must include all requested time off at the time of submission.

Approval for time off will be based on facility needs.

Travelers may experience call requirements.

Experience with specific procedures such as angioplasty / stenting and aortic aneurysm repair is required.

Skill in general operating room tasks and first assisting is essential.

Ability to work with cardiac procedures and devices is necessary.

Experience in a teaching hospital setting is preferred.
