We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to join our team. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance to design solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Cisco technologies, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into measurable business value.
Overview of Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
- Partnering with sales teams to engage with customers, understand business needs, and define solution requirements.
- Designing and presenting Cisco-based architectures, including networking, security, collaboration, data center, and cloud solutions.
- Delivering compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Providing subject matter expertise in Cisco solutions, aligning technology to customer outcomes.
- Creating solution proposals, including bill of materials (BOM), diagrams, and high-level designs.
- Collaborating with Cisco and partner ecosystem resources to ensure optimal solution design and delivery.
- Staying current on Cisco certifications, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
- Supporting account planning, RFP / RFI responses, and competitive positioning.
- Acting as a liaison between the customer, sales, and delivery teams to ensure smooth solution handoff and implementation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or a related technical role.Proven expertise in Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, wireless, and SD-WAN).Knowledge of Cisco security, collaboration, and / or data center solutions is highly desirable.Experience developing solution architectures and proposals in a customer-facing capacity.Certifications and Skills
Relevant Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or Cisco Specialist certifications are preferred. The candidate should also have :
