As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for staff and customers. This is a driving role, requiring a valid driver's license. By remaining highly visible and delivering excellent customer service, you will play a key part in fostering a positive experience for everyone at the location. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Friday 01 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Saturday 01 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sunday 01 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within a retail setting.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, including the surrounding perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

Observe and report any suspicious behavior, potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help deter unauthorized entry.

Work collaboratively with store staff and local authorities when required in response to incidents or emergencies.

Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily duties.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
