About the Schedule
Work Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week.
As a reminder, all county employees are considered essential and must be prepared to protect and support the community and its citizens. Each employee, without exception, will have a duty assignment and be required to work during a disaster or declared emergency.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have the following :
Permitting Coordinator I - 3 years of clerical / office or customer service experience.
Permitting Coordinator II - 1 year of experience involved with interpreting, enforcing, screening, or monitoring of a regulatory process (such as permitting, planning, zoning, ordinances, licenses, building, taxes, etc.).
Satisfactory Completion of Core Competencies or an ability to obtain Core Competencies within 6 months of hire date (see Addendum #1).
The ideal candidate has the following knowledge, skills, and / or abilities :
Physical Demands : Employees in this role must occasionally lift and / or move up to 20 lbs.
About Everything Else
Starting Pay Range : Permitting Coordinator I - $18.18 to $19.00, based on experience.
Permitting Coordinator II - $19.86 to $21.25, based on experience.
