Legal Biller
A well-established Pacific Northwest law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Biller to join its accounting and finance team. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing, trust accounting compliance, and cash application within a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, edit, and finalize client invoices in compliance with firm and client-specific billing guidelines.
Manage pre-bills and work closely with attorneys and legal assistants to resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of client trust accounts, including deposits, disbursements, and reconciliations in accordance with trust accounting regulations.
Record and apply client payments including checks, wire transfers, ACH, and credit card transactions; reconcile daily cash postings.
Research and resolve unapplied payments and billing inquiries promptly.
Generate and distribute billing reports to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Collaborate with finance and practice groups to ensure billing data integrity and compliance with firm policies.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in legal billing, accounting, or finance, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.
Strong understanding of trust accounting principles and compliance requirements.
Experience with legal billing software (Aderant or Elite 3E preferred).
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
