This opportunity offers excellent support, competitive compensation, and a manageable commute from both New Orleans and Baton Rouge. - Position Highlights : Annual ED Volume : 35,000 visits ED Beds : 17, includes a designated Fast Track Daily Patient Census : Admission Rate : 13% Scribes available to support documentation EMR : MediTech Modern facility with strong clinical resources and operational support Shift Coverage : Physicians : 36 hours / day 12-hour shifts : 6a 6p / 11a 11p / 6p 6a APPs : 36 hours / day 12-hour shifts : 7a 7p / 9a 9p / 4p 4a Candidate Requirements : Board Certified / Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM Only) Current ACLS, and PALS certifications Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license and DEA About the Community : Situated just an hour from New Orleans and Baton Rouge, making it an attractive option whether you choose to live locally or commute from the surrounding metro suburbs.
