The Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking dynamic and service-oriented individuals for the position of Lounge Attendant to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. The Le Meridien Sheraton Hotel, located in Uptown Charlotte, is a 690-room dual complex with 65,000 sq. ft of meeting and conference space.

As a Lounge Attendant, you will approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner. The primary role of this person will be to ensure the Club Lounge is a warm and inviting area for guests.

Schedule is 5 : 30am to 2pm and pay is $17 / hour

Responsibilities to include :

• Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist host or hostess in seating guests as needed.
• Present items in the Club Lounge to members.
• Memorize menu selections and wines including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients.
• Use proper verbiage and etiquette while interacting with members.
• Fully stock Club Lounge with amenities i.e. drinks, snacks, food etc.
• Relay order to kitchen and service bar utilizing point of sale system
• Observe members to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed for members.
• Total bill and accept payment or refer members to cashier.
• Ladle soup, portion pies and desserts, and brew coffee.
• Clear and reset counters or table at conclusion of each course.
• Assist in cleaning and wiping down of service areas and prep areas.
• Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.
• Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
• Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.
