CNC Grinder – 2nd Shift | $20.00-25.00 per hour

  • Competitive Pay of $20.00 per hour plus additional compensation
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, 2nd Shift, 4pm-2 : 30 / 3 : 30am

Job Description

Join a high-precision job shop specializing in aerospace, medical, and defense components as a CNC Grinder on the 2nd shift. This is a hands-on role ideal for detail-oriented professionals who take pride in quality and craftsmanship. You’ll be working in a clean, climate-controlled environment, producing tight-tolerance, low-volume parts on world-class CNC OD / ID grinding equipment.

Responsibilities :

  • Set up and operate CNC OD / ID grinders
  • Interpret blueprints and process sheets to machine to exact tolerances
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision instruments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with a small, skilled team to produce high-precision parts

    • Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Experience in CNC OD / ID grinding with the ability to hold tolerances within .0002"
  • Proficiency with micrometers, bore gauges, and comparators
  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T and engineering blueprints
  • Manual grinding experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

    The base salary range for this position is $20-25 / hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
