Full time position : Schedule Monday - Thursday 5 : 00 a.m. - 3 : 30 p.m. (Friday as needed)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Blending Operator I is responsible for setting up blending equipment and all activities related to the blending of product as per formula instructions. Support, build, and promote a positive and collaborative culture across all teams.

KEY JOB DUTIES

• Able to operate all V-blenders.
• Able to perform weighing operations.
• Able to perform loading operations.
• Able to perform a daily preventive maintenance on the production equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot machines and make minor adjustments on all machinery and equipment.
• Maintain paperwork in a neat and accurate manner.
• Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly, 50 pounds frequently and 75 + pounds with assistance, on a daily basis.
• Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, stoop, climb, or perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.
• Able to understand milligram, gram, and kilo scales.
• Able to perform basic math calculations utilizing a calculator.
• Interface with Production Manager, Supervisor, and Production Leads on a daily basis.
• Clean machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
• Able to train other production operators on safe and proper manner.
• Utilize Redzone for communications, issues and create ideas / issues.
• Run Redzone huddles.
• Suggest ways to improve productivity and efficiencies.
