Accounts Payable Specialist
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. You will work closely with vendors and internal departments to maintain positive relationships and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process a high volume of invoices, ensuring proper coding and approval.
- Prepare and execute payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions and vendor statements.
- Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Generate and analyze accounts payable reports to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

The role is based in an office environment within a manufacturing setting. This position requires customer service-oriented individuals and offers a flexible work arrangement with four days in the office and one day working from home. This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
