What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Managing Import / Export Operations : Overseeing day-to-day import / export activities, including HTSUS classification of goods (ADD / CVD analysis), Schedule B and ECCN analysis for exports, documentation, and interactions with customs brokers and other stakeholders
• Staying up-to-date on regulations : Monitoring changes to US and international trade laws and regulations and communicating those changes to relevant teams
• Duty optimization and preferential trade agreements : Identifying opportunities to minimize duties and taxes using trade agreements and other legal mechanisms throughout Linde's global supply chain
• Resolving compliance issues : Investigating and resolving any identified compliance topics, including potential penalties or audits
• Conducting audits and assessments : Regularly reviewing import and export processes to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to regulations
• Managing relationships with regulatory agencies : Interacting with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other relevant agencies on trade compliance matters
• Handling day-to-day functions of the trade compliance department and other duties as assigned
