Physical Therapist (Lawton)

Opportunity Description

HumanEdge Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a dynamic team in Lawton, OK. The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers treatments as prescribed by a physician to help patients restore function, prevent disability, and achieve their highest level of independence. This role provides direct patient care, supervises and delegates tasks to PTAs, aides, and students, and ensures safe, evidence-based practice across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. Additional responsibilities include accurate and timely documentation, charge entry, and active participation in departmental performance improvement, infection control, equipment training, and safety programs.

Job Duties

• Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician
• Help patients restore function, prevent disability, and reach maximum independence
• Supervise and delegate tasks to PTAs, aides, and students
• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress, discharges, and charges accurately and promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and equipment training standards
• Participate in departmental performance improvement and quality initiatives
• Provide care across the lifespan (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics)
