Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and implement Kafka Connectors (HTTP / HTTPS Source & Sink) to integrate with external APIs and systems.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage Kafka Connect clusters within Confluent Platform .
  • Work on Confluent Kafka in On-Prem and Google Cloud environments.
  • Ensure data schema evolution, compatibility, and performance optimization .
  • Implement security measures including SSL / TLS, OAuth2, Basic Auth, and authorization for Kafka Connect.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Kafka Connectors, tasks, and workers.
  • Collaborate with dev teams to design scalable data ingestion and delivery pipelines .
  • Document connector setups, best practices, and operational procedures.
  • Stay updated with new features in Confluent Platform and Kafka ecosystem.

    • Experience Required :

  • 8+ years of IT experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka Connect architecture (connectors, tasks, workers).
  • Hands-on with HTTP / HTTPS Source & Sink Connectors .
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
  • Exposure to Kafka cluster management & security configurations .
