Senior IT Engineer - Active Directory Administrator

Overview

NiSource is seeking a highly skilled Active Directory Administrator to lead the design, administration, security, and optimization of our enterprise Windows Server and Active Directory environment. This role will have significant responsibility for management and maintenance of Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and VMware virtualization, as well as patch management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance—leveraging enterprise tools such as Qualys, Tanium, and BigFix.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support : Assist in the design, development, and implementation of solutions for assigned technical product and / or platform
• Create appropriate unit, integration, and automated acceptance tests for features based on requirements
• Develop products or platforms that fulfill requirements, are readable, maintainable, testable, and performant using common development lifecycle techniques
• Create highly dependable products or platforms, accounting for monitoring, logging, metrics gathering, system health, and reporting. Must be able to identify, diagnose, and solve issues in a production setting
• Code / configuration Review and Quality Assurance : Participate in reviews and ensure that solutions meet quality standards and best practices
• Solution Development : Develop and implement solutions that enhance the functionality and performance of assigned products or platforms

Salary Range

$110,200 - $165,300 plus 10% annual bonus
