Regular Full Time
The base pay scale for this position is $198,500.00 - $302,750.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to : scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
What You Will Be Doing
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Financial Planning and Budget, the Assistant Vice President will work closely and collaboratively with senior leadership throughout the Finance Department and the rest of the organization and will have oversight of the Joint Venture and Regional portfolio. He / she will be financially responsible for a diverse portfolio of strategic projects and be a key team member throughout the process from concept development to "go-live" and "post go-live." These responsibilities will include preparation of business plans and financial feasibility studies, being an integral part of the team preparing presentations for senior leadership, medical staff, and the Boards, and coordinating all financial activities around the implementation and post-live management of strategic initiatives. The Assistant Vice President will have demonstrated a deep and comprehensive knowledge in healthcare financial, operational, and regulatory issues. He / she will have outstanding team building and communication skills, as well as strong strategic and financial analysis skills.
Responsibilities : The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Experience, Competencies, and Personal Characteristics
Solid experience (10+ years) in strategic financial analysis / planning for / in a hospital is required. Major teaching / surgical hospital experience and joint venture / private knowledge is highly desirable. Demonstrated understanding of hospital finances, operations, regulatory environment, strategic planning, and the hospital / healthcare industry, as well as external environmental forces, is required. Minimum of 5 years of supervisory, team-related experience is required.

Education : Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree preferable but not required depending on level of relevant experience.
