job_description.job_card.job_descriptionLead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, setting priorities and managing daily operations Determine staffing requirements and ensure appropriate coverage for all projects Guide teams through requirements definition, project planning, design reviews, and production releases Collaborate with business development, proposals, design, test, manufacturing, quality, and customer service teams Support all aspects of product lines, including concept generation, material selection, trade studies, design optimization, and mechanical analysis Identify material and capital acquisition needs and manage procurement Implement new systems and processes for continuous improvement and efficiency Ensure compliance with department standards, policies, and technical documentation Bachelor s Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 7+ years of experience; or 13+ years of experience without a degree Proven experience mentoring and managing engineers Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (PTC Creo and / or Solidworks preferred) Experience with PLM software (Windchill preferred) Strong 3D visualization, drafting skills, and knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and GD&T Experience with structural analysis and FEA (Ansys experience preferred) Design for Manufacturing, machining, and fabrication experience is a plus Proficiency in MS Office products Ability to obtain security clearance (U.S. citizenship required) Competitive salary with wide range reflecting experience Generous paid time off 401(k) with 6% match and immediate vesting Paid parental leave Tuition reimbursement Strong work-life balance
