Job Title : Repair Technician - Mechanical & Technical Equipment
Job Summary
Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands to solve problems? Join our team as a Repair Technician , where your skills will be put to work diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining specialized healthcare equipment. You'll play a critical role in ensuring devices are safe, functional, and meet both manufacturer and company standards.
What You'll Do
As a Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for :
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic issues in healthcare devices
- Calibrating equipment to precise specifications using manufacturer guidelines
- Maintaining tools and testing equipment to ensure accurate repairs
- Documenting work including parts used, labor, calibration results, and device status
- Troubleshooting equipment and providing technical support to other teams
- Keeping your workspace clean and organized , and disinfecting equipment regularly
- Staying current with manufacturer certifications and training
- Managing inventory through cycle counts and physical movement of devices
- Collaborating with manufacturers to ensure software and calibration procedures are up to date

Employment Requirements

Required :
High school diploma or GED equivalentPreferred :
Hands-on experience with medical or mechanical equipmentAt least one year of related work experience in repair, maintenance, or technical supportSkills & Competencies

Oxygen analyzers and flow metersHand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drill drivers, and crimpersMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Standard office equipment (fax, copier, printer, phone, computer / tablet)Email and internet for communication and researchPhysical Requirements
This role involves :
