Position Summary
The Site Supervisor assists the Multi-Site Store Manager with operations and sales activities, ensuring overall store performance, sales goals, and profitability are met while guiding a customer-focused part-time sales team. The role implements UGS's mission of community engagement and brand recognition by delivering high-quality branded merchandise with passionate, world-class service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day site operations and implement action plans to improve operating results.
- Protect company assets through compliance with inventory check-in, sales procedures, product handling guidelines, cash control policies, shrinkage avoidance, and safety protocols.
- Uphold positive relationships with university officials, UGS partners, and third-party vendors.
- Lead mobile pop-up sales events outside the store.
- Fulfill and ship online sales orders daily.
- Maintain store appearance and organization to maximize sales.
- Guide part-time sales associates by creating daily task lists, training new staff on POS processes, customer service, and merchandising standards, and providing feedback to the multi-site store manager.
- Provide product feedback and recommendations regarding new items or discontinuations.
- Maintain a safe and clean site environment per campus and UGS policies.
- Availability for varied weekly shifts, including weekdays, occasional weekends, evening events, and peak hours.
Knowledge and Experience
2+ years of retail experience with increasing responsibilities.Technical expertise in POS systems and troubleshooting.Apple certification may be required.Product knowledge of apparel, hardgoods, and tech accessories is a plus.Computer proficiency for product shipping and inventory adjustment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) is a plus.Proficiency with mobile hardware technology.Core Competencies
