We are looking for a skilled and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Port Orchard, Washington. This role involves managing various accounting tasks in a hands-on, paper-heavy environment while working closely with a small team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, blue-collar setting.
Responsibilities :
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Oversee payroll for a small team, including bi-weekly and monthly schedules.
- Prepare and file sales tax reports in compliance with regulations.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Generate and review financial reports to track billable items and invoicing.
- Maintain a basic cash flow spreadsheet to monitor available funds.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle manual billing and invoicing processes using printed reports and calculations.
- Adapt to a dynamic workplace environment and effectively manage priorities.
The salary range for this position is $85k to $105k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan and 15 days of paid vacation & sick time, and 10 paid holidays per calendar year.
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with manual accounting processes.Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.Experience with payroll processing for small teams.Ability to prepare and file sales tax reports accurately.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Comfortable working in a paper-heavy, blue-collar environment.
