Radiologic Technologist Job Details Assignment Length : 13 weeks (November 10, 2025 – February 9, 2026) Location : Boone, North Carolina 28607 Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Cath Lab (Inpatient) Shift : 5x8-hour day shifts (8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM), weekdays only On-Call : Rotating weekly call (Monday–Friday 5 : 00 PM–7 : 00 AM, 24 hours on weekends); minimal call-ins (1–2 per week) Hours per Week : 40 Estimated Weekly Pay : $2030 - $2190 Employment Type : Travel, W2 Scrubs : All navy or all white Radiologic Technologist Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a CT / Radiologic Technologist Active North Carolina or Multistate Radiology license required BLS and ACLS certifications (current for duration of contract) Proficiency with EPIC EMR (recent experience required) Experience administering moderate sedation COVID-19 vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Must reside at least 40 miles from Boone facility (local candidates not accepted) Valid driver's license required for address verification Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery during cardiac procedures Administer moderate sedation as needed Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC EMR Participate in on-call rotation and respond to call-ins as required Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies Experience the charm of Boone, North Carolina, while advancing your allied health career in a dynamic clinical environment.
