• Job Title : Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)\n
• Location : San Ramon, CA 94583 (California nursing jobs)\n
• Healthcare Setting : Family Birthing Center (LDRP model)\n
• Shift : 12 Hour Nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am)\n
• Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
• Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 13 / 2025 – End : 1 / 13 / 2026)\n
• Weekend Requirement : Yes\n
• Float Requirement : As needed within skillset\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $2030-$2180\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active California RN license required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience\n
• BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced certifications required\n
• Experience in LDRP model, couplet care, and managing high / low risk obstetric patients\n
• Ability to circulate for both vaginal and C-section deliveries\n
• Flu and COVID vaccination required (medical or religious exceptions accepted)\n\nLabor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities\n
• Provide comprehensive clinical care for laboring mothers, including delivery (vaginal and C-section), labor management, inductions, and high-risk obstetric cases\n
• Deliver postpartum, well-baby, and couplet care in a Family Birthing Center (LDRP model)\n
• Care for mothers and newborns, including special care nursery for infants 32 weeks gestational age and above\n
• Monitor and titrate medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin, and Labetalol\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
