Senior Mainframe Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Engineer, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Drive development, testing, deployments, and iterative improvements of product capabilities

Develop high-quality applications ensuring security, operability, and observability

Mentor engineers and establish product engineering and software standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, or related field

6+ years of experience in software development with knowledge of application design patterns

Experience with large-scale application troubleshooting and performance tuning

Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and test-driven development

Experience with COBOL, JCL, TSO / ISPF, DB2, MQ, and CICS
