  • Collect patient data and document care according to unit standards, identifying patient needs and prioritizing problems for effective care.\n
  • Develop individualized care plans that integrate the needs of the patient and involve their families in the decision-making process.\n
  • Deliver high-quality care as per established standards; perform treatments and procedures while ensuring patient rights and safety.\n
  • Record and report care and observations accurately, and take proactive measures to address patient health issues.\n
  • Utilize nursing processes to delegate care appropriately; contribute to quality improvement initiatives; and uphold a safe working environment.\n
  • Complete all clinical skills assessments under the supervision of licensed RNs, while also working collaboratively with the healthcare team.\n
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support optimal patient care and team objectives.\n\nSupervisory / Management Responsibility\n\nThis role does not have management responsibilities and will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n
  • Education : Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.\n
  • Experience : No prior experience required. Candidates with more than 12 months of experience are not eligible.\n\nIn Lieu Of\n
  • A temporary Graduate Nurse license may be accepted upon receipt of your diploma, if you are awaiting your NCLEX testing.\n
  • All newly hired RNs must possess an ADN or BSN from an accredited institution / program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the South Carolina State Board of Nursing.\n\nRequired Certifications, Registrations, Licenses\n
  • Must be licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina.\n
  • BLS certification is required.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\n
