About The Role

The Clinic Nurse is responsible for assisting the Health & Wellness Director(s) with day-to-day clinical tasks including but not limited to follow-up with resident’s providers; ensuring orders are received timely and entered correctly; assisting with components of admissions / readmissions; assist with chart / medication cart audits; monitoring clinic phone line and returning calls in a timely manner.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Clinic Nurse :

• Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
• Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated.
• Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders.
• In conjunction with Health & Wellness Director, keeps physician and family aware of change in resident’s condition.
• Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
• Assures continuity of services and care.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
• Assumes a proactive role in resolving resident issues & concerns related to assigned areas of responsibility.
• Functions under intense time pressure.
• Contributes to a positive, healthy, and safe working environment.
• Works as a member of the team.
• Accepts change in a positive manner.
• Performs any other relevant duties as assigned.
• Administer direct care as necessary.

Full-Time 8AM-4 : 30PM Monday-Friday

Salary : From $28.00 per hour
