BGS, a leading services provider of beta rays for radiation sterilization, is currently staffing US-based operations at our new production facility in Imperial, PA.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and safety-oriented Maintenance Technician, versed in both electrical and mechanical operations. In this position, you will play a vital role in the startup of our high-volume production operations, working with a growing team!

Job Responsibilities :

• Installation of Machinery : Assist with initial installation of the machinery at the production site together with the contractors.
• Independent Maintenance Work : Perform or oversee maintenance work on machinery and equipment.
• Generation of Maintenance Reports : Prepare and review maintenance reports and conduct spot checks to verify completed maintenance tasks.
• Repair and Modification of Equipment, including but not limited to :

o Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment associated with an electron accelerator and automated conveyor system. Auxiliary equipment includes gear boxes, motors, pneumatic tools, PLC, high vacuum systems, etc.

o Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and use applicable software to diagnose and troubleshoot machine interruptions.

o Learn and utilize Siemens software associated with the PLC system.

o Install and repair electrical systems and electronic components on industrial machinery and equipment.
