Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or Plant Science preferred but not required. Starting salary is $60-80k Pay is determined by experience, skill, education, and other factors Able to enroll in benefits after 60-day new hire probation period Health Insurance Dental and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability 401(k) Retirement Plan and employer matching (up to a certain amount) and 100% vesting as soon as contributions are made Paid Time Off Paid Holidays (6)

Arborist / Sales Representative
Position : Sales Representative / Arborist – Full Time
Department : Homer Tree Care, Inc.
Job Summary : The Sales Representative / Arborist is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships. This includes but is not limited to visiting client’s properties, assessing clients tree / plant needs, and preparing proposals for current and potential clients. The Sales Representative / Arborist must have a working knowledge of tree care related equipment necessary to complete the assigned tasks
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Perform all sales within a defined sales territory
- Meet and strive to exceed sales expectations
- Prepares proposals for potential clients
- Aids in development and implementation of PHC programs
- Aids in development and implementation of safety programs
- Identifies and treats pest infested and diseased trees
- Applies pesticides and specialized tree fertilizers
- Maintains constant communication with clients to ensure client satisfaction
- Inspects and maintains all equipment
