Overview

Responsibilities

  • Conduct studies and analyses related to operations, systems, or management changes and impacts of changes using knowledge of staffing, engineering, service provision, and management.
  • Conduct condition assessments, risk assessments, asset inventories, and spares analyses on infrastructure equipment. Develop decision-making tools related to the data collected.
  • Provide professional consultation and routinely interface with clients. Conduct client meetings, virtually or on site.
  • Prepare documents and presentations for clients, identifying solutions to solve complex business issues.
  • Provide project management support. Manage scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Support and lead select proposals.
  • Occasional travel to a client's offices or facilities. Field work may include onsite working meetings, job site walks, inventory assessments, or condition assessments.
  • Conduct QA / QC reviews of work completed by other team members as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of related work experience preferred; experience in an A / E / C industry, preferably consulting experience.
  • Engineer in training certificate preferred.
  • Institute of Asset Management certificate.
  • Local candidates preferred.
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS, SQL Server, and / or Crystal Reports.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years related experience.
  • Efficient use of the internet and other electronic and hard copy media for research.
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Visio skills.
  • Expert Microsoft Access and Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and present summary-level information.
  • Ability to obtain, cleanse, merge, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong relationship, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Self-starter with proven track record of accomplishments.
