An aerospace client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and

maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.

Location : Bethpage, NY (Onsite)​

Position : Maintenance Technician​

Pay Rate : $31.60 / hr. - $34.60 / hr. on W2 (DOE)​

Duration : 12 months or longer​

Schedule : 9x80 A​

Shift : 1st Shift (Every other Friday off but OT may result in working off-Friday’s or weekends as needed).

What You'll Do :

∙To perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. ∙ Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades :  carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. ∙ Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. ∙ Uses hand and power tools. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. ∙ Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. ∙ Provide management support, boiler familiarity, understanding and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building alarm systems.

Qualifications : ∙ Authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship. ∙ High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience. ∙ Provide management support, boiler familiarity, understanding and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building alarm systems.

Preferred Qualifications ∙College would be preferred but not required.
