About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on professional for our growing systems administration team. Systems Administrators are responsible for the workstations and servers of our rapidly expanding trading operations. In addition to all systems work both on the desktops and in the datacenters, Five Rings Systems Administrators frequently interact with users at various levels all across our organization.

We are a Linux shop both on the server side and the trader desktops. Our firm runs Windows servers very rarely and Windows desktops as needed.

Skills & Attributes :

• Fluency in Linux administration is a must
• Experience in Debian / Ubuntu preferred
• Strong communication skills
• A demonstrated ability to work tasks to completion and tolerate frequent context switches

This role will be fully in-person based out of New York City. Annual base salary is $275,000. Total compensation packages are comprised of base salary and a discretionary bonus.
