Join our school-based behavioral health team to grow professionally while providing critical services to students.Position SummaryWork as part of a collaborative team delivering evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, intervention, treatment, case management, and recovery support to students with mental health or co-occurring substance use needs, as well as students at high risk. Support student safety, wellbeing, and academic success in partnership with families, school staff, and community providers.
- Key Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Deliver Tier 2 interventions (prevention, crisis management, and short-term support).
- Provide Tier 3 treatment (individual and family therapy).
- Coordinate care and advocate for students across providers and systems.
- Support recovery through outcome monitoring and stability planning.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports.
- Actively participate in school-based and district teams.
- Qualifications
- Masters degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
- Must be, or willing to become, a registered intern.
- Free supervision toward licensure provided by DATA.
- Experience providing behavioral health services to children / adolescents.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
