About The Position

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. Starting Oct 6, 2025, this full-time opportunity offers day shifts from 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves daily infirmary rounds, consults, and comprehensive patient care within a corrections environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct daily infirmary rounds in the morning

Perform weekly rounds in restricted housing units

Complete physicals, consults, emergency consults, and admissions consults

Chart patient information and care activities

Review EMR queue for patient updates and follow-up

Evaluate and interpret lab and x-ray results

Additional Information

Corrections experience is a plus

Must hold an active PA license

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
