Full-time American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter

Description LTC Language Solutions is seeking a professional and passionate American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to join our team full-time in Indiana.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing language access across a variety of settings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES Interpreting Services :

• Provide high-quality, in-person ASL interpretation at various client locations in Indiana as needed for up to 40 hours per week Accurately interpret in various legal, medical and community settings.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and a strong understanding of Deaf culture.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.

Administration :

Develop a strong presence in the community for LTC by attending events, being involved in various networking groups, etc.  Assist in organizing interpreter training and events Requirements 3+ years of ASL interpreting experience Passionate about providing language access Adherence to the RID Interpreter Code of Ethics Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in American Sign Language NIC / IIC Certification Professional Appearance Guidelines As a representative of LTC, interpreters are expected to maintain a polished and professional appearance :
