Position Summary :

Perform all receiving, storage, picking, transporting and inventory control functions necessary to support the warehouse operation.

Responsibilities : Essential Duties

• Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
• Responsible for moving, stocking, receiving and packing outbound warehouse merchandise.
• Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.
• Operates warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks.
• Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
• Refers most complex issues to higher-level staff / supervisor.
• At higher job levels; possesses comprehensive or advanced knowledge of subject matter.
• May provide leadership, coaching and / or mentoring to a subordinate group.

Expertise : Knowledge & Skills

Required to apply entry level working knowledge of technical field / area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action. Performs entry level shop floor competencies.

Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and / or written instructions. Uses established procedures to accomplish assigned task.

May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.

Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors / vendors.

Required :

High school diploma / G.E.D required.

0-0.5 years related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.

Applicable industry / professional certification preferred.

Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed.
