About the Role :

As an Experienced TIG Welder in the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality welded components primarily using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding techniques. Your expertise will ensure the precise joining of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and various sheet metals, contributing directly to the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of finished products. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to execute welds that meet stringent industry standards and customer specifications. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to safety, as you will work with complex materials and equipment in a dynamic production environment. Ultimately, your work will support the manufacturing process by delivering durable, defect-free welds that uphold the company’s reputation for excellence and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a TIG welder with a strong portfolio of work involving stainless steel, aluminum, and sheet metal.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder or equivalent) demonstrating proficiency in TIG welding techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices.
  • Physical ability to perform welding tasks, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy materials.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with high-volume production demands.
  • Familiarity with automated or semi-automated welding equipment.
  • Additional certifications in welding inspection or metallurgy.
  • Basic knowledge of other welding processes such as MIG or Stick welding.
  • Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.

  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and sheet metal components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
  • Inspect and prepare materials prior to welding, including cleaning, cutting, and fitting parts to ensure proper alignment and fit-up.
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure all tools are in safe, working condition to support efficient production.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to identify and rectify any welding defects or inconsistencies.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
