Family Office Specialist

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Family Office Services, Addepar & Navigator Specialist to join our Capital Partners Client and Family Office Servicing Team. In this role you will focus on providing clients with wealth projections and Private Investment cash flow forecast and commitment pacing using the Addepar, Navigator and eMoney applications.

Some of your key responsibilities include :

  • Assist and work with other internal BBH teams to load third party assumptions across both public and private markets into the application.
  • Prepare wealth projections and Monte Carlo simulations based on capital market assumptions and client / relationship team inputs.
  • Prepare in-depth private asset cashflow forecast based on fund specific cashflow data or Investment Research groups recommendations.
  • Run eMoney wealth projections and Navigator reports based on client or front office inquiries.
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries related to output

Qualifications :

  • BS / BA degree required
  • 1-2+ years of relevant work experience with Addepar and Navigator required
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, i.e. customizing charts and graphs, conducting multi-sheet analysis, linking data across workbooks, and using advanced formulas
  • Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems / issues.
  • Avid learner willing to develop subject matter expertise on new software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Proactive self-starter who is goal oriented
  • Working knowledge of performance analysis concepts
  • Strong financial reporting and asset classification knowledge a plus
  • Ability to analyze monthly performance returns and market value changes to ensure accuracy.
  • Having a strong knowledge of private investments (private equity, venture capital, private real estate) and being able to track and report on them a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively prioritize and adapt within a fast-paced business environment.
  • This role is based in our New York City location and is a hybrid role, with a minimum of three days per week in office.

    Salary Range $65k-$75k base salary + annual bonus target
