Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.QualificationsEducation : Graduate of an accredited registered nursing programLicensure : Current RN license in Missouri or compact state; must meet all state board requirementsCertifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (required within 30 days of hire)Additional certifications may be required depending on unit needs, including : ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, CPHON, OCN, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFMPhysical Requirements : Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularlyProlonged standing and walkingAbility to bend, kneel, twist, squat, and reach as neededPRN Requirements : Must work a minimum of 36 hours per six-week scheduling periodRequired to work one 12-hour weekend shift per schedule (Friday 3 p.m. to Monday 7 a.m.)Must work one summer and one winter holiday shift annuallyWe're bringing to life a healing ministry through compassionate care.At Mercy, our supportive community will be behind you every step of your day, especially the tough ones.
