Overview

High-end retail store seeking a creative, detail-oriented graphic designer who loves paper and people and will thrive on creating fabulous invitations for a demanding clientele. The candidate must have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Ability to use a Mac and / or PC. Must be a quick learner, self-motivated, efficient, and display strong customer service skills. This role also involves creating email blasts and other promotional / marketing materials. The candidate must present a professional appearance, maintain a positive attitude, and pass a background and security check. The work schedule includes every other Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and proofing of custom and semi-custom invitation orders
  • Interpret customer needs and inspiration boards into a cohesive design suite
  • Update existing invitation suite templates to fit customer preferences (colors, fonts, monograms)
  • Communicate with clients via email and phone as needed
  • Design marketing content for website and social media streams
  • Assist with miscellaneous hand-assembly tasks (wax seal, adhere liners to envelopes, ribbon tying, packaging orders, etc.)

Requirements

  • Graphic design experience in print or digital media
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong knowledge of print design
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Understanding of trends in the wedding industry
  • Familiar with the Wedding Collection and Customization Options
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Strong work ethic, desire to learn and grow

  • Compensation : $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
