Urgent Care Physician

Job Title : Full-Time Staff Physician Location : Melrose Park, IL Schedule : Monday - Friday, 1pm-10pm (No weekends or holidays) Overview : An established healthcare provider in Melrose Park, IL, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Staff Physician to join their team. This role is ideal for a physician experienced in Occupational Medicine and / or Urgent Care or one interested in transitioning to Occupational Medicine. Responsibilities : Conduct medical assessments for center patients and establish appropriate levels of care. Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accreditation standards. Collaborate with employers on health and safety needs, conducting on-site assessments as needed. Communicate with client representatives regarding employee health status and care plans. Serve as a supportive leader for medical staff in the absence of the Medical Director. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and maintain clinical competency in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications : Licensure : Current unrestricted medical license in Illinois; DEA license required. Education : Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Skills & Competencies : Strong service orientation, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and PHI regulations. Patient-first approach and effective bedside manner. Team-oriented, adaptable, and supportive within a multidisciplinary environment.
